First and foremost, a big thanks must go to John Gilmore (johngilmore.bandcamp.com) who provided the original piano samples used to create this collection of works.

My role! To manipulate each of the four samples used, by extreme stretching (using Paul Stretch) and making use of effects such as Adaptiverb, MGranularMB and Guitar Rig.

Why Breathe? Well, to stay alive, of course, but, on a more serious note, I felt that while listening back to this piece, during and after the creation process, the only other thought in my head was my breathing, such was the relaxing nature of the experience.

I strongly recommend that you listen to John Gilmore's Prelude to the Rain from his album, Au Naturel from which the samples are taken.

I hope you enjoy this as much as I do...
