The Fleet Galaxy-class Dreadnought Cruiser (T6) is a Tier 6 Dreadnought Cruiser which may be flown by Starfleet characters, including Federation-aligned Romulan Republic and Dominion characters. All faction restrictions of this starship can be removed by having a level 65 KDF character or by purchasing the Cross Faction Flying unlock from the Zen Store. This starship can be used from any level upon completion of the tutorial experience. As you level up, this ship gains additional hull, weapon slots, and console slots.
Players can obtain this starship from any Ship and Shuttle Requisitions officer for 20,000 and 5 , so long as the player's Fleet has a Tier IV Starbase Shipyard and one Starbase Military Fleet Ship Provision. If the player already owns the Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser from the Zen Store, the Fleet Ship Module cost is reduced to 1.

SKIN UNLOCK: Legendary Galaxy Dreadnought Cruiser, 6,000 First introduced in IDW Publishing's Mirror Broken comic series, this Mirror Universe version of the Galaxy-class dreadnought was commandeered by Jean-Luc Picard's Terran counterpart. It is emblazoned with the insignia of the Terran Empire and distinctive yellow pin-striping. The Legendary Dreadnought Cruiser also unlocks a unique "Galaxy Gamma" saucer variant, this is the Mirror Galaxy saucer without the Terran pinstriping while retaining a lack of Fleet Emblem and its unique detailing for the underslung Spinal Lance. This Gamma saucer is manually selected through Ship Customization. |

Abilities[]
The Fleet Galaxy Dreadnought Cruiser (T6) comes with a built-in Phaser Spinal Lance. This is a devastating weapon, the Romulan counterpart is equipped on the Kara Advanced Warbird, and the Klingon counterpart is equipped on the Kolasi Siege Destroyer. The Yamato can also equip a cloaking device from the Dreadnought Cruiser, and the saucer separation console from the Exploration Cruiser Retrofit.
Console Synergy[]
No special consoles are equipped on this ship by default. However, it can equip consoles from the Galaxy Cruiser Set, the Cloaking Device from the Dreadnought Cruiser or Tactical Escort Retrofit, and the Supplemental Subsystems console from the Dreadnought Cruiser (T6).

T6-X upgrade
By using an [Experimental Ship Upgrade Token], the Fleet Galaxy-class Dreadnought Cruiser (T6) may be upgraded to T6-X, unlocking an extra ship device slot, universal console slot, and the ability to slot an extra starship trait.
Note that upgrading the Yamato Dreadnought Cruiser, the standard non-fleet version of the Fleet Galaxy Dreadnought Cruiser (T6), will not apply the upgrade to this starship.

- The Yamato-class is likely named after the U.S.S. Yamato, a Galaxy-class starship that was lost in 2365 after suffering a warp core breach caused by a virus transmitted from an Iconian Probe. The name choice was also inspired by the 'Space Battleship Yamato', from the Japanese anime of the same name, which has a large energy cannon similar to the spinal lance.
