- "As the galaxy transitioned from chaos to order, our regiment was created to maintain that order."
- ―Crag, to the rest of Foot Patrol 7
A regiment of sandtroopers served the Galactic Empire's Imperial Army during the Galactic Civil War,[2] and served as part of the famed and elite 501st Legion, Dark Lord of the Sith Darth Vader's personal legion.[1] Grand Moff Wilhuff Tarkin[2] and Darth Vader dispatched Commander Praji[1] and the regiment[2] to retrieve the stolen Death Star plans in the possession of two Rebel Alliance droids,[1] joining the local garrison in the process.[5] Foot Patrol 7 and TD-4445's squad were part of the regiment.[2]
