The fourth season of the animated Star Wars: The Clone Wars television series, marketed under the subtitle Battle Lines, began airing on Cartoon Network in the U.S. on September 16, 2011 with a one-hour season premiere and ended with a season finale on March 16, 2012. Much like the previous seasons, the fourth season is comprised of twenty-two episodes.[4] The season was first announced in April 2010.[5]
