The We Hate SpongeBob Club is a club created by Squidward Tentacles that allows members to share negative experiences they have had related to SpongeBob.
History[]
Squidward hosted a secret club where anyone can talk about their misfortunes with SpongeBob, passing a speaking sponge that metaphorically served as SpongeBob in the story, which many club members beat or even tore to shreds. The club members each told their stories:
- Mrs. Puff was teaching a student named Bertie Fitzpatrick, and as she was about to get her license, SpongeBob got in the boat and started driving in a chaotic way, destroying her school.
- Bubble Bass was having lunch at the Krusty Krab, and as he started eating it, SpongeBob examined it and deemed it not perfect enough, who took it away.
- Plankton made toilet paper that could wipe Bikini Bottom of the face of the ocean and was planning to use it, before a "wild" SpongeBob got in, flapping his hands like wings, wrecking the Chum Bucket and locking Plankton and Karen out.
- Squidward's story happened in real time. His doorbell rang, and when he opened the door, no one was there; SpongeBob already entered his house asking for saltwater. However, it was just a ruse to come inside and annoy the rest of the group. Then, Patrick got in too, drinking Squidward's punch. SpongeBob left to make his pineapple punch, and when he returned, he spilled it on the air conditioning, which caught fire and burned Squidward's house down.
- The Mailman's story largely remained unknown, although it resulted in him coughing up SpongeBob's mail for weeks.
Trivia[]
- This is the second group/club against SpongeBob. The first is C.O.B.B.U.T.K.S.B.S.P.O.T.R.A.O.O.B.A.T. from "Boat Smarts."
- Ironically, SpongeBob didn't realize the club was against him. He even happily organized a meeting at his own place when Squidward's house burned down, providing the members with food and offering to serve as a speaking sponge.
- The club has been held for 431 weeks, which is over eight years.
