History[]

Background[]

Timothy A. Donahue is a self-proclaimed author and alleged philanthropist trying to sell his book Get Rich Quick on the streets of Saint Denis

Events of Red Dead Redemption 2[]

The player can encounter Donahue in the streets of Saint Denis near the Bastille Saloon, selling a copy of his book for fifty dollars. If the player decides to buy it from him, they discover that the book was actually a fraud, and so they can later return to Donahue and ask for a refund. At this point, Donahue flees and thus his fate is left to the player; they can leave him, or loot the $50 from him after either killing or hogtying him, which will result in losing honor.

Character[]

Appearance[]

In 1899, Timothy Donahue is a middle-aged man with his thinning black hair combed over to his left. He's relatively clean shaven aside from his moustache. He wears a caramel colored plaid suit with dark brown accents and light gray plaid pants. He has a similarly caramel colored puff tie and a red plaid vest with several chains hanging from his buttons.

By 1907, Donahue wears the exact same attire only much more desaturated and weathered from time. His combed over hair has become thinner and disheveled along with patches of stubble on his face. His tie is looser and lower hanging, his clothes are stained and dirty, he has an additional mismatched patch on his left jacket flap, lacks the chains on his buttons and is missing his pant's button.
