Sheriff Jones is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 and Red Dead Online.

Background[]
At some point prior to 1898, Jones was elected the Sheriff of Annesburg. He has served the town well, and is well-respected by its inhabitants.
Events of Red Dead Online[]
Jones can be found at the Sheriff's Office in Annesburg.
If the player becomes a bounty hunter, they can capture various wanted individuals that appear on the bounty board outside Jones' office, and bring them in dead or alive. Jones will pay them every time, and make a comment depending on whether the criminal is alive or dead.

Sheriff Jones can be found at his office in both 1899 and 1907.

- Unlike other sheriffs and lawmen in Red Dead Redemption 2, Jones notably does not offer any Bounty Hunting missions to the player.
- The unnamed deputy marshal encountered in the final part of "The Noblest of Men, and a Woman" shares the same voice as Sheriff Jones.
- Despite the massive shootout in the town that occurs in "Just a Social Call", Jones and his deputies are not present in the mission.
