Slugs are a breed of animal appearing in a range of colors. Some slugs living in the Dungeons of Shintaro are used by the Geckles for a variety of things, especially their legal system.
History[]
Prior to Rise of the Snakes[]
Fang-Suei, while hallucinating from heat in the desert, mistook Fangdam for a desert slug and bit him, causing him to grow a second head.[1]
Pause and Effect[]
When the ninja are planning their infiltration of the Vermillion Swamps, Jay notes a slug is on Cole's shoulder, which startles Cole before he knocks it away.
Into the Dark[]
A slug was in one of the tunnels Cole and Vania walked through on their way into the Dungeons of Shintaro.
Trial By Mino[]
During a meeting, Gleck hands out purple slugs to the Geckles.
Grief-Bringer[]
While the Geckles were thinking that the truce meeting with the Munce could be an ambush, they were throwing slugs at each other while one of them ate a purple slug when it was on her arm.
Later on, the Geckles have a slug race determine whether or not to go to the truce meeting, where the grey slug represents a good idea while brown slug represents a bad idea.
When the brown slug was close to winning over the very slow grey slug, Zane freezes the slug's track to give it an advantage, eventually managing to help it win. While on the way to the meeting, Gulch has the grey slug on his hand, who became saddened when Gulch said that it might be wrong about the Munce being trustworthy.
The Darkest Hour[]
A purple slug is on a rock before it is shook off when the ninja, Munce and Geckles escape from Grief-Bringer. The slug later peeks its head out.
The Son of Lilly[]
As Vania was being crowned Queen of Shintaro, Gulch held a purple slug on his elbow.
