Fire spiders are massive, fireproof arachnids that live in caves in the Lava Wastes.

History[]

Wyldfyre: Return to the Wyldness[]

When Wyldfyre tried to lead Red, Feisty, and Sparky from a cave, she crossed paths with a cluster of Fire spiders. After trying to shoot fireballs towards them, she remembered that fire spider webs are fireproof. As an alternative method of transportation, Wyldfyre made a catapult for her and the baby dragons, scaring off the spiders and breaking their webs.

• Fire spiders are the third type of massive spiders, following Spykors and Giant spiders. Unlike the previous two, Fire Spiders aren't related to skulls.
• Fire spiders weave webs that are fire/heat proof.
