- Not to be confused with sand eels.
Eels are aggressive animals that live in the Endless Sea and the Island of the Keepers.
History[]
The Tale of Benthomaar (flashback)[]
While Trimaar and Kalmaar were on a trip in the Endless Sea, Trimaar noticed some eels attacking a child. He then fought the eels and saved the child.
Few years later, when Kalmaar and Benthomaar first discovered the Temple of Wojira, an eel tried to attack Kalmaar, but Benthomaar was able to defeat it and save his brother.
Rebooted[]
Pythor, disguised as a mysterious figure, managed to infiltrate Borg Tower and used the Electro-Cobrai to reboot the Digital Overlord. Afterwards, Pythor and the Overlord used the Electro-Cobrai to recharge the Nindroid Army and activate Tech Wu. However, since the previously used Electro-Cobrai were depleted, Pythor then went to the Ninjago City Aquarium and stole another set of Electro-Cobrai. These newly acquired Electro-Cobrai were used to reactivate multiple Nindroid Warriors and later to power a hidden tracking device in the Falcon, allowing them to track Lloyd and Garmadon. During the Nindroid Army's attack on the Serpentine village, the Nindroids had Electro-Cobrai attached to their backs. The ninja discovered the purpose of the Electro-Cobrai and disconnected the tubes connecting them to the Nindroids, effectively deactivating them.
