Synopsis for "I was in the Clutches of the Living Shadow"
Warlord Kaa arrives in an advance wave from a two-dimensional world to determine if Earth is ripe for takeover. No human weapons can stop him because he has his warriors assume the shadow forms that humans cast. A human prisoner makes his escape from a high peak by grabbing his shadow guard and using him as a parachute. He warns the authorities by having the lights shut off, revealing the presence of Kaa's men. They are easily captured, and although Warlord Kaa is driven off at the end of this story, the Marvel Universe hasn't seen the last of him.
