Spike Strike is a Mid-boss Battle mini-game. In "Solo" mode, it appears in Magma Mine at the mid-boss fort. In "Party" Mode, the minigame always appears at the mid-boss fort in Magma Mine and has a 50% chance to appear at the other boards' mid-boss forts. Its titular boss is an oversized Gabon named Spike.
Intro[]
Spike drops down onto a small hill poking above the magma with four chutes dropping down, his entrance shaking the ground a bit. He then spits out four Spiked Balls, one at each chute.
Gameplay[]
In this game, Spike spits out the spike balls; then he stomps to reveal the suggestion between the hammer and the stick. Each of them worth differently:
- Golden Hammer is worth +3 points.
- Normal Hammer is worth +1 point.
- A Stick is worthless, taking away -1 point.
During the first round, there will be enough hammers for everyone, with one being a golden hammer. Afterwards, the number drops.
Rage[]
When Spike rages, he stomps really hard and the lava flows to shorten your time to select an object.
Ending[]
Spike falls onto his back.
