Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit is an Augmented Reality version of Mario Kart, using the Mario/Luigi kart's camera to see through the vision. This is the second Mario Kart game for the Switch after Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit was announced along with other Mario 35th Anniversary games/products on September 3, and was released on October 16, 2020 as part of the Super Mario 35th Anniversary Celebration. It's Also the Last Mario Kart to Feature Charles Martinet as the voice of Mario, Luigi, Wario & Waluigi before it was announced that he would be retire from voice work for the Mario Games.

This game is similar to Nintendo Labo. (MARIO KART LIVE: HOME CIRCUIT IS USED INSIDE ONLY!)

  • First, you need the Mario/Luigi kit.
  • Then, download Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit on the eShop. The app is free
  • Connect the kart by scanning the QR code using it's camera.
  • Make a circuit with the red circuit pieces. Put them on the floor!
  • You're free to go! You can play your inside circuit. Notice how the kart is moving along the game part.
