The Beat 102.7 is a radio station in Grand Theft Auto IV and Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City that plays contemporary hip-hop and R&B.
Description[]
The station is hosted by DJ Mister Cee and DJ Green Lantern in GTA IV, and by Funkmaster Flex and Statik Selektah in EFLC. It is based on New York City's hip-hop and R&B radio station, Hot 97. The playlists heavily emphasise the New York City hip-hop scene, with the vast majority of artists coming from that area, though some artists from the South and Midwest are also featured. A portion of the tracklist is exclusive to each stand-alone game, but downloading The Lost and Damned for GTA IV updates the station to include all songs. The Beat 102.7 Studios are located in Star Junction, Algonquin.
It is Armando Torres's, Brucie Kibbutz's, Dwayne Forge's, and Yusuf Amir's favorite radio station. It is also liked by Patrick McReary, Playboy X, Bobby Jefferson, and Malc.

Trivia[]
- The Beat 102.7 is one of nine radio stations in Grand Theft Auto IV and Episodes from Liberty City that doesn't play any commercials or news breaks, the others being Electro-Choc, The Classics 104.1, Massive B Soundsystem 96.9, The Journey, L.C.H.C. (EFLC rendition only), Vladivostok FM (EFLC rendition only), San Juan Sounds (EFLC rendition only) and RamJam FM.
- The Beat 102.7 is called "Beat 95" in the game files. This was most likely the beta name of the station.
- At the end of DJ Green Lantern's mix, he says that Mr. Cee is up next. However if it's heard while playing the standalone versions of TLAD/TBOGT or Grand Theft Auto IV: The Complete Edition, it goes to Funkmaster Flex's mix.
- DJ Green Lantern and Statik Selektak's songs were recorded exclusively for GTA IV and EFLC.
- During "Love Lockdown" by Kanye West, Funkmaster Flex mentions Ernesto Asaltacunas, saying he dresses and looks ridiculous and "What age are we talking about?", this is a reference to an infamous R. Kelly interview on BET that happened around the time of the game's release.
