The Declasse Sabre Turbo Custom is a two-door lowrider-style muscle car featured in Grand Theft Auto Online as part of the Lowriders: Custom Classics update, released on April 19th, 2016, during the Sabre Week event.
Design[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The Sabre Turbo Custom is a lowrider variant of the Sabre Turbo, where it brings various changes by default.
The vehicle retains its original design from the standard model, retaining the front and rear fascias. However, the car has received several changes, where the front fog lights built into the grille have been removed, leaving only the badges and mesh grille. Most of the modifications from the standard model remain available for the custom version, but the nitrous oxide canister will no longer be present if a Roll Cage is added, nor will the passenger seat be removed if a Stunt Cage is installed. The Wheelie Bar option is no longer available, either. Its underside is fitted with a paintable frame and has a visible driveshaft, a different exhaust setup (dual pipes instead of a single Y-split pipe), and visible hydraulic bars connected to the suspension.
Unlike the standard Sabre Turbo, the Sabre Turbo Custom only features a single primary color on the body and the fuel tank, removing the upper and side stripes with the "SABRE TURBO" markings (due to the addition of lowrider-type liveries), but makes up for it by having an interior color and a dial color. The secondary color is applied to the lower frames, as well as most of the modifications installed. The vehicle also gets custom "Big Worm" lowrider wheels, along with white-wall tires.

Performance[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
The performance of the vehicle appears to be almost identical to that of the stock counterpart. However, it appears to be slighty faster, heavier, and due to its lower ride height, the vehicle will suffer from crashing at low-level obstacles. By using the lowrider mechanism, the car will likely sort sidewalks and small obstacles easily, at the expense of increasing chances of flipping it at certain occurrences of jumping on a ramp and taking corners.
On the plus side, however, the Sabre Turbo Custom retains the performance traits from the standard Sabre Turbo, being a competitive choice for general races in comparison to other lowriders when fully upgraded, but may fall short against higher-performance muscle cars such as the Dominator in straight lines. The low ride height also gives the car more stability on corners, and also improves acceleration slightly due to the reduced drag.
Again, the Sabre Turbo Custom uses a powerful 550 ci turbocharged V8 coupled to a long-throw 5-speed semi-auto manual transmission powering the rear wheels. The engine sound is the same from the regular Sabre Turbo, the Gauntlet and the Buffalo S.

Trivia[]
Grand Theft Auto Online[]
- The overall design of the vehicle's promotional advert bears a strong resemblance to the one for the 1972 Oldsmobile 442.
- If anything other than the "Stock Grille" is added under the Grille category, the frames of the fog lights from the standard Sabre Turbo will be visible. This may be an oversight, since these options were carried over from the standard model and left unchanged.
