The LSPD Auto Impound (also known as Davis Towing Impound) is a towing company featured in Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online.
Description[]
It is located on the corner of Innocence and Roy Lowenstein Boulevards next to the Davis Police Station.
It is one of the businesses available for purchase by Franklin Clinton. The business, which costs $150,000, becomes available after completing all the Strangers and Freaks side missions for Tonya Wiggins. The impound lot will provide Franklin with a Towtruck, which he can use to tow cars, earning him approximately $500 for each towed car with a penalty deducted for damaging the vehicle.

Grand Theft Auto Online[]
In GTA Online, if the player is killed by the police within roughly a one-block radius from their Personal Vehicle, it will be impounded, though commiting suicide in GTA Online will avoid the player's personal vehicle being impounded if a wanted level is acquired.
The vehicle will be stored here, where it will remain in the same condition as when it was impounded, and Sticky Bombs stuck to the car will remain on the car, and can be triggered. For a fee of $250, the player can enter the lot and retrieve their vehicle without attracting police attention. Alternatively, the player can enter illegally to steal their vehicle back, but at the cost of acquiring an immediate two-star wanted level.
If the player uses another personal vehicle whilst they have an impounded vehicle or leave the vehicle in the impound for a long period of time, the impounded vehicle will be crushed by the police. If it was insured, the vehicle can still be re-claimed by calling Mors Mutual Insurance.
If the Player is registered as a CEO, they can also call their Assistant to return their Personal Vehicle for $1,000 and it will then be delivered to the player's current location.
It is possible to have another player steal the player's impounded vehicle by giving the other player access via the Interaction Menu. They can enter without a wanted level as long as they don't have an impounded vehicle of their own, and drive it out. They can then hand it over to the owner who will not get a wanted level.
