+Atk/-HP

The best IVs for New Year Keaton are +Atk and -HP. This allows him to deal as much damage as possible per attack. Additionally, it is a superboon so you should take advantage of it as much as possible. His HP is of less importance so it is safe to take it as a bane.

A superboon adds +4 to an enhanced IV instead of the normal +3.

+Atk for a +10 Merge

Somewhat low Spd and Res

Keaton's Spd and Res only sit at 24 and 20 respectively. This makes it easy for magic users to take him out. His Spd is not abysmally low, so is his Res, but if a speedy magic unit is able to nail a follow-up attack on him, he will take heavy damage.

Be mindful of New Year Keton's positioning in relation to speedy magical units that can easily take him out.
