What Kind of Character Are They? | ・Casts a penalty on foe after combat ・Can warp to allies when HP is low ・Has the useful skill Draw Back by default |

Effect:【Dagger 7】 |
Range: 1 Unit moves 1 space away from target ally, who moves to unit’s former position. |

Res (6) | ★★☆☆☆ |
◯ = Stat gains +4 with a superboon, ✕= Stat goes down by -4 with a superbane, - = No assets or flaws
See the IV Checker for All Units | Trait Fruits—How to Change IVs |
When using an Ascendant Floret, we recommend getting the next superboon if it fits the hero. If not, consider what stat your hero needs most.
The best IVs for Chad are +Spd and -HP. A higher Spd stat allows Chad to get a ton of follow-up attacks on his foes as he will reach 40 Spd with it. HP is of less importance so you should take it as his bane.
We recommend a +Spd IV when merging Chad to 10. This is for the same reasons as above. Increasing Spd increases Chad's overall usability as with other units. It also synergizes well with his Spd Smoke 3!

This build uses Special Spiral 4 to pierce through damage reduction and deal massive damage against Chad's foes. Special Spiral also pre-charges his Special after every combat, allowing Chad to repeatedly pick off his foes one by one.

This is a budget build for Chad that uses minimal Skill Inheritance. Double Fury brings him down to Desperation range quickly, allowing Chad to attack twice and potentially knock out his foe before they can retaliate.
Exclusive Weapon Effect from Refining (Special Effect Type) | |

SP: 400 | |
Might: 14 Range: 2 HP: At start of combat, if unit's HP ≥ 25%, grants bonus to unit's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = 4 + current bonus on each of foe's stats, inflicts penalty on foe's Atk/Spd/Def/Res = current bonus on each of foe's stats (calculates each stat bonus and penalty independently), and neutralizes effects that inflict "Special cooldown charge -X" on unit during combat. Effect:【Dagger 7】 If unit initiates combat or foe's HP ≥ 75% at start of combat, grants Atk/Spd/Def/Res+4 to unit, reduces damage from foe's first attack by 30%, and deals damage = 10% of unit's Spd during combat (excluding area-of-effect Specials). :500 :200 |
|
Refined Wildcat Dagger grants bonus stats, damage reduction on foe's first attack, and true damage equal to 10% of Chad's Spd.
While these effects aren't overwhelmingly powerful, they do help Chad perform better in combat and allow him to keep up with more modern units.

Note: Stats bonuses from skills are not taken into account.
Chad is a ranged physical attacker (range = 2). Therefore, when not accounting for the Weapon Triangle, the amount of damage he deals will be equivalent to his Atk minus the foe's Def stat.
Chad received a new exclusive weapon in Wildcat Dagger. When refined, this dagger grants Chad Atk/Spd/Def/Res+8, Atk/Spd/Def/Res bonuses equal to the bonuses on his foe's respective stats, and inflicts Atk/Spd/Def/Res penalties onto his foe equal to their current bonuses as well. This effect essentially steals his foe's visible bonuses, granting them to Chad.
Wildcat Dagger also neutralizes effects that slow down Chad's Special cooldown charges, deals damage equal to 10% of Chad's Spd, and reduces damage from his foe's first attacks by 30%.
This weapon turns Chad into a decent statball unit capable of overpowering his foes with sheer stats.
Escape Route 3 allows Chad to warp to spaces adjacent to any ally. This is perfect for him, since he has low defenses.
This skill is perfect for modes like Grand Hero Battles where losing a unit means defeat or modes like Arena where losing units means a decreased score.
Chad does not offer that much firepower for a dagger unit. His Atk and Spd are only 30 and 37 respectively at Lv. 40. His skills also do not provide him with much offensive prowess. If you prefer Chad to have more firepower, consider inheriting skills onto him. If you are only using his base kit, strategically consider him as a debuff support instead and rely on another more powerful unit to do the dirty work for you.
