This is a guide to all the Multiplayer Features of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty and whether there will be Crossplay in the game! Read on to see how to play multiplayer in the game, as well whether there is co-op or invasion in the game!
List of Contents
For Playstation players, you'll need to have a PlayStation Plus subscription if you wish to join Wo Long's Multiplayer functions.
Non-Active multiplayer features involve avenging other players as well as getting avenged by other players! This means that you can still get accolades by defeating enemies that have felled other players as well as gain extra Dragon's Cure Pot uses!
① | Activate the first battle flag on the first main mission of part 2 (Two Chivalrous Heroes) |
---|---|
② | Select Online Lobby |
③ | Choose Co-op to play alongside other players or use Recruit to invite other players to your world. |
If you wish to recruit other players, you will need to consume Tiger Seals. Tigear Seals is a consumable item that is exclusively used for multiplayer so don't hesitate to use it if you plan to play multiplayer as that is the Tiger Seal's only use.
① | Complete Part 2's 3rd mission (The Demon Fort of the Yellow Heaven) |
---|---|
② | Select Online Lobby from the Flag Menu |
③ | Choose Invade. |
Game Mode | Number of Players |
---|---|
Co-op | 3 Player Max |
Recruit | 3 Player max |
Invade | 1-2 Enemies |
Both coop mode (either by having others join you or you joining them) has a player limit of 3! Trying to have more players join the current 3-man roster will not be possible. Take note that joining other players will allow you to clear the stage but not progress your own story!
For the PvP part of Wo Long, only 2 players can invade! This prevents too much disadvantage on the invaded player and it is also necessary to adjust your build to be more focused on eliminating the player host as opposed to PvE builds.
It is stated on Wo Long's official website that Crossplay is not supported in any way. This includes invasion and co-op mode so be mindful of which platform you'll play on if you plan to play with other people you know!
Similar to recruited allies, you can also revive allies if they fall into critical condition. The same can be done for you if you fall to an enemy while there are still allies that can respond to your aid!
Another good reason to play coop with other players is that item drops are shared among all players! This means there is no need to rush and be defensive of loot or try to divide it as everyone gets their unique loot!
The Willow Branch is an item that you can use to dismiss recruited allies and invaders alike. Use this if other players are intentionally ruining the current game lobby!
