How to Start The King of the Tunnel Sidequest

To start the The King of the Tunnel side quest, you must have completed the main mission, Alpha Signal.

Alpha Signal Mission Guide

To start the King of the Tunnel side quest, talk to Cedric who is hanging around the vending machine on the narrow alley near the Sisters' Junk in Xion.

The King of the Tunnel Sidequest Objectives

1	Investigate the Hypertube entrance
Extra	Before trying to open the chest, navigate the surrounding area to be able to examine Scavenger bodies and obtain some SP and new databank entries.
2	Investigate the cargo The cargo can be found underwater after jumping out of the Hyper Tube
3	Talk to Cedric
4	Control the Fusion Drive

Navigating the Hyper Tube

To use the Hyper Tube, jump inside it and Eve will automatically slide down using her sword. While navigating, make sure to avoid the hazards such as the crates as well as the red areas on the hyper tube.
