I am an American evolutionary biologist with a Ph.D. in ecology and evolutionary biology. I am based at Rutgers University, where I specialize in studying biodiversity, evolution, and genomics. My research has taken me across the globe, including Latin America, Africa, Southeast Asia, and the Pacific Islands, where I have conducted fieldwork in remote tropical jungles, arid deserts, and isolated islands. My work as a field biologist, combined with my research in evolutionary genomics and natural history museum collections, has led to the discovery of new species, uncovered the unique evolutionary processes that shape biodiversity, and assisted in global conservation efforts.
