Autumn trees looked decorated with lights, which were the reflection of the lights on the glass walls of the hotel we stayed at in Oirase-keiryu.
The Augustusburg and Falkenlust Palaces form a historical building complex in Brühl, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, which has been listed as a UNESCO cultural World Heritage Site since 1984. The buildings are connected by the spacious gardens and trees of the Schlosspark. Augustusburg Palace (German: Schloss Augustusburg) and its parks also serve as a venue for the Brühl Palace Concerts. The Max Ernst Museum is located nearby.
Falkenlust hunting lodge was designed by François de Cuvilliés and built from 1729 to 1740, in the style of the Amalienburg hunting lodge in the park of Nymphenburg Palace.
From shortly after World War II until 1994, Augustusburg was used as a reception hall for guests of state by the German President, as it is not far from Bonn, which was the capital of the Federal Republic of Germany at that time.

Crimson Rose (Pachliopta hector) - is a large swallowtail butterfly belonging to the genus Pachliopta (roses) of the red-bodied swallowtails.

WONDERFUL FACTS - What is the most powerful bird in the world?
The wild animal known to have been killed and carried away by a bird was a 15 pound male red howler monkey killed by a Harpy Eagle (Harpia harpyja) in Manu National Park, Peru in 1990.
The harpy eagle is considered the world's most powerful bird of prey, although it weighs only 20 pounds. 🐧

I love sunsets as some of you may have guessed but right there with that love is a passion for trees so when I get a chance to enjoy both I stop and soak it in...Have a great weekend my friends! I get to enjoy it with friends and crack of dawn golf! :-) ~Sam
Capture this view of Fall here in Maryland while walking around Wilson Point with my Dad. Some pretty colors were on display in some of the trees, while others are still quite green.
Will still be several weeks before the leaves are all gone down here close to the Chesapeake Bay.

Loch Ard. Took a wrong turn from Kinlochard and didn't get to the spot I planned on, but liked this tree island and after some waiting the light shone through for a few moments.
Low water levels at Brechfa Pool exposing the normally isolated trees. Also showing bird and sheep prints in the mud.
Wagtails at the lake near my home have one juvenile.
He is as big than mom and dad, and soooo noisy :)

For this one I was on a bridge and the wagtails in tree over the lake or under the bridge on the ground

Reflected trees everywhere: in the central brook, but also in the flooded meadows left and (in the distance) right of the brook.
This area, the "Assebroekse Meersen" has as a function that it absorbs excess water and protects the houses of the nearby village Ver-Assebroek, near Bruges.
