A wired rendering of the Manhattan Bridge.
IF you had difficulties finding this photo, and my other recent ones, it is because Flickr's Activity Feed is not functioning for many of us. They are aware of the problem and say they are working to fix it. In the meantime please stop by to check on my status. Thank you.
There are millions of pictures of Calgary's Peace Bridge. I am adding a few more.
When I read 52 Places to Go in 2014 in the New York Times and saw Calgary's Peace Bridge as part of its entry as number 17, I knew I wanted to attempt capturing the Peace Bridge, too. I really like Chris Bolin's photograph.
I just noticed that the lights along the bottom right hand side are dark. That is, they are not lit. I guess that adds to the photograph in making it more interesting.
My friend Bernie also has an excellent picture of the Peace Bridge, which I encourage you to visit.

The Jökulsárlón Bridge crosses the entrance to the famous Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon along the coast of Southeast Iceland on a wet and foggy day. The hengibrú (suspension bridge) was built in 1966-7, and has a main span of 108m. A ferry operated here from 1932, but before that the river was very difficult to cross.
A very cold December morning at the Milwaukee River, near the Hoan Bridge. The river was mostly frozen, but not solid ice.
It was probably about 20° F when I was taking this photo, the heat from the smokestack clearly visible in the chilly morning air.
Some wiki trivia: Although construction was completed in 1972, it did not open to traffic until 1977 due to public backlash against the planned Milwaukee County freeway system. This halted completion of the connecting roadways and led to the Hoan Bridge being known as "The Bridge to Nowhere."
Its unfinished state was used as the site of a car chase scene in the movie "The Blues Brothers".
The Forth Bridge is a cantilever railway bridge over across the Firth of Forth in the east of Scotland, 9 miles west of Edinburgh City Centre.
Construction of the bridge began in 1882 and it was opened on 4 March 1890 by the Prince of Wales, the future Edward VII. The bridge spans the Forth between the villages of South Queensferry and North Queensferry and has a total length of 8,094 feet (2,467 m). When it opened it had the longest single cantilever bridge span in the world, until 1919 when the Quebec Bridge in Canada was completed. It continues to be the world's second-longest single cantilever span, with a span of 1,709 feet (521 m).
