James Douglas Muir "Jay" Leno is an American actor, voice actor, comedian, writer, producer, and television host. He is best known for hosting his self-titled NBC late-night talk show The Tonight Show with Jay Leno from 1992 to 2009, and again from 2010 to 2014. During his first retirement from The Tonight Show, he formerly hosted the other NBC talk show The Jay Leno Show (2009–2010). He also voiced Vorb in the 1993 Universal Pictures animated film We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story, Fast Tony in the 2006 Blue Sky Studios film Ice Age: The Meltdown, and King Malbert in the 2008 MGM sci-fi animated film Igor.
His Disney roles include portraying himself in Episode 208 of Muppets Tonight, the 1986 TV special Disneyland's Summer Vacation Party, two episodes of the Touchstone Television series Home Improvement, the 2007 live-action film version of Underdog, Delivery Man, the Hannah Montana episode "I'll Always Remember You", The Muppets TV series, and the Touchstone films Calendar Girls and Mr. 3000. He also voiced Jay Limo in the 2006 Pixar animated film Cars. Additionally, he voiced Colonel Contraction in the Phineas and Ferb episode "Phineas and Ferb Save Summer" and Billy Beagle in Mickey Mouse Mixed-Up Adventures.
