"Teeny Witch" is the first segment of the fifteenth episode of Zombies: The Re-Animated Series. It first premiered on October 9, 2024 alongside "The Hunter Games" before making its Disney Channel premiere on October 26, 2024.
Synopsis[]
Dae's lack of self-confidence causes her to shrink!
Plot[]
Bucky is hosting a trickshot showdown after school where students perform incredible paper tossing tricks into the bin. Zed is the undisputed champion, and has a good chance of maintaining his title. After the practice trails in the cafeteria, everyone heads off to class, but not before Bucky catches Dae doing her own trick shot when no one is looking. She tosses a scrunched ball of paper across the cafeteria, bouncing off the walls, in and out of the bin, and into her alchemy bag. When confronted, Dae denies her hidden talent and tries to slip away, but Bucky insists that she enters the trickshot showdown. Dae declines, saying she is not good enough, but Bucky has already signed her up. He even tells Dae to have confidence in herself, something she has never had. But then she remembers she has a confidence elixir which she believes will give her self-confidence. She drinks the elixir but nothing happens. So, she heads off to class.
Throughout the day, something strange happens to Dae. Instead of gaining confidence, the elixir causes her to shrink every time she lacks self-confidence. During science class, she shrinks when she chickens out answering a question. She shrinks when she declines Wyatt's invitation to shoot hoops, and when she brushes off Bucky's faith in her winning the upcoming tournament. Dae hurries to find her Aunt Ashley. By the time she reaches the curse shop, she has shrunk to the size of a small doll. Ashley explains to Dae that the elixir she took does not give her confidence. It causes a person's body size to re-adjust to the confidence level they have. In Dae's case, she has very little confidence, which is why she has shrunk so much. To reverse the spell, Dae has to offer a show of confidence, and she needs to show big confidence to return to her normal size otherwise she will be small forever.
Dae does not know how to show some confidence when she has no confidence to begin with. Then she remembers the trickshot showdown and her hidden talent for trick shots, giving her an idea of how to reverse the spell. She rides Bartleby back to school and manages to enter the tournament at the last minute. She confidently performs a spectacular trick shot that restores her to normal size and wins her the tournament.
