"Counterfeit Goof" is the seventh episode of the first season of Goof Troop.
Synopsis[]
Pete hires Goofy and Max to wallpaper his house, but when Goofy runs out of wallpapering supplies he is out to get some more but ends up unknowingly buying the supplies with counterfeit money. Now he has to deal with counterfeiters who are out to get him.

The episode starts when Goofy and Max try to wallpaper their house.

- When Braxton pressured Max on where his father is, Max said Timbuktu. In the Latin American Spanish dub, Max said Patagonia.
- At the start of the third act, Max’s eyes are out of focus after moving.
- During the scene where Goofy tussles with Slick, his line "He won't get away!" is reused from The Whalers.
- Just before Goofy's redlight race with Slick, a brief instance of Pinto Colvig's original take on Goofy can be heard saying "Ahyuck" instead of Bill Farmer.
