"Coffee Mates" is the second segment of the eighty-fourth episode of Big City Greens.
Synopsis[]
Gloria combines her work life and social life by hiring her friends as employees.
Plot[]
Gloria is enjoying another day at work when she gets a call from the Kaitlins who want her to come and hang out with them. Gloria would love to, but is stuck working at the cafe. Gramma Alice insists that she hire someone to help run the place, but Gloria does not trust anyone to run it to perfection. In order to maintain a social life, Gloria decides to hire the Kaitlins as employees so that they can stay together. Meanwhile, Tilly is playing with her dolls when she notices what looks like a grey hair in her comb. Convinced that it is hers, Tilly starts to believe that she has already peaked in her life and now wants to look into trying to maintain her youth.
Tilly tries to relive life as a baby by dressing as one and then later by hanging out with actual babies, though she quickly abandons this endeavor when she realizes that she has no way of interacting with them. Gloria successfully hires the Kaitlins who are confused, yet welcoming at the idea of having a job. However, they are incapable of doing anything without interacting with their social media accounts. This causes Gloria to try and appease them while Cricket is stuck running the cafe by himself. Gloria later has Cricket find cats so that they can be a cat cafe, but soon the Kaitlins ineptitude causes Cricket to go on strike.
Bill finds Tilly trying to do taxes and he convinces her that she still has a long life ahead of her. She realizes that the grey hair belonged to the cat and embraces her youth again while pointing out that Bill has a grey hair, much to his dismay. With the cafe in shambles, the Kaitlyns decide to quit and Cricket resumes work. Gloria is saddened at the fact that she has no social life, but Alice once again tells her that she simply needs to get help and that it is okay for her to do so. After cleaning the cafe up, Gloria finally hires the studious Jade who is more than perfect to be a manager. Gloria finally gets off of work to join the Kaitlins at having fun.

Trivia[]
- Up until this episode, Gloria was the only manager at the cafe with Jade now interchanging with her.
- Moral:
- Don't be a rush to grow up, enjoy your childhood while it lasts.
- Don't try to combine work and personal life together. There's a time and place for everything.
- Don't be afraid to let others help out. You deserve a break every now and then.
