This category is for movies distributed by the Walt Disney Company or its subsidiaries only in certain countries.

(Disney does not own the worldwide rights to any of these films.)

One example is Studio Ghibli, whose films were only distributed by Disney in North America (until 2017, as GKIDS now has distribution there), Japan (home media only; Toho, Toei, NHK and Shochiku distributes the movies in cinemas), France (until 2020, as Wild Bunch/Wild Side now has distribution there), Taiwan and other select Asian territories (depending on the film and era)
