Spectrum is a Legendary sword in Diablo III. It requires character level 31 to drop, and can only be obtained from Unique Monsters in Whimsyshire or Whimsydale, at a very low chance. For example, it can drop from the Pink Rainbow Unicorns.
Spectrum is sometimes sought after as a transmogrification choice due to its unique rainbow look. It has an angelic-type hilt like Skycutter, but with a blade made of rainbow light.
The sword does not have any unique legendary powers. Older versions of it gave a bonus to All Core Stats - that is, Strength, Intelligence, Dexterity and Vitality - which could sum with standard stat bonuses to grant a bonus above the normal limits. It also typically included a chance to Blind. However, the version that can drop now has randomized attributes standard for all Legendary one-handed swords.[1]
