A Rocky Start is the one hundred and first episode of Ninjago: Masters of Spinjitzu
Plot [ ] The Ninja pack in preparation for their journey to the pyramid, to the surprise of Master Wu . He and P.I.X.A.L. decide to provide the Ninja with transportation, in the form of new vehicles stored in a large facility in the mountain beneath the Monastery of Spinjitzu . The Ninja are quick to take to the Land Bounty , Dirt Bike , and Katana 4X4 , taking off without even studying the operator's manuals. Eventually, the group make their way into the Desert of Doom , a vast expanse of sand.
Stopping for a picnic, the Ninja are enjoying themselves when they are attacked by a massive scarab beetle called Beohernie , which according to Zane was once worshiped by the natives of the region. The group attempts to flee from the creature, but its great size and speed make it difficult to evade. They soon decide to seek shelter atop rocks, as the creature can only burrow through sand, but keep running into mirages. Eventually they reach safety, only to find that the beetle has pulled off a vital component and is now circling their ridge of safety with two smaller but still gigantic specimens.
