"Everything Stays" is a song featured in "Everything Stays", where Marceline's mother sings it to comfort a young Marceline. It is sung by Marceline herself in the final scene of "The Dark Cloud".
It is the first song that Rebecca Sugar wrote for Adventure Time after leaving the show to work on Steven Universe. The song was first revealed at the 2015 San Diego Comic Con Adventure Time & Steven Universe panel.

Ice King's Lyrics[]
Everything Bagel -everything stays ice king cover- - Jerry - AT- Fionna and Cake (volume adjusted)
Ice King (Extinct World) covered the song in "Jerry", changing most of the lyrics to be about an "Everything Bagel" instead of the song's original intention. He sang into a hair brush wore a wig similar to Marceline's hair when doing it.

- It is the first song to be played in the Stakes miniseries.
- When this song was sung to Marceline by her mother, it possibly inspired her love for music.
- This song was inspired by a stuffed rabbit Rebecca Sugar owned as a child which at one point was lost in her garden: when she found it 6 months later the toy's belly had faded to a white color. Spinel, a character from Steven Universe, was inspired by the same toy.[1]
- An extended version of the song which features the verse in the SDCC 2018 performance is available to stream on Spotify and other music streaming services.
- In April 5, 2020, the 10th anniversary of Adventure Time, Olivia Olson commented in the live stream that this is one of her two favorite Marceline songs (the other one is "Slow Dance With You").[2]
