“In front of the towering craggy mountain, a stone bridge. Then, a stone, spiraling stairway that seemed to stretch up toward the heavens. From the rough bare rocks, ominous roars and deep breathing can be heard, as if the mountain itself were alive. The Dragon's Table... An ancient relic of the old dragonkin. The place where Naga, the Divine Dragon King, sealed the earth dragons. And now, six hundred years later, the earth dragons were awakening. Countless evil demons were being born...”

“A stone bridge leading up the tall rocky mountain. This stone bridge seems to stretch to the heavens, as it spirals around. From the rocks fearful roaring and breathing sounds can be heard, as if the mountain was alive. The Dragons' Altar... It is an ancient ruin of the dragon tribe, and the place where the Divine Dragon King, Narga, sealed away the Earth Dragons. Now, after a period of 600 years, the Earth Dragons are currently awakening, and countless evil demons are being born... ”
—Opening Narration, Mystery of the Emblem

The Dragon's Table is the first part of the final chapter of Fire Emblem: Mystery of the Emblem and Chapter 22 of Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem.

Enemy Reinforcements[]

Starting on turn 4, then every other turn before turn 12, in both chest rooms:

  • 1 Mage Dragon L16
  • 1 Fire Dragon L16

Starting on turn 8, then every other turn before turn 14, from the corridor above both chest rooms:

  • 1 Fire Dragon L16
  • 1 Sorcerer L15 w/ Thoron

Starting on turn 10, then every other turn before turn 16, from the upper corridors on each side of the throne room:

  • 1 Mage Dragon L16 (from right side)
  • 1 Fire Dragon L16 (from left side)

Items Acquired[]

Fortify (from top left sorcerer)

Door Key (from sorcerer with Meteor)

Wyrmslayer (from left chest)

Dragonpike (from right chest)

Strategy[]

The two treasure chests contain a Pure Water and a Door Key, which could be easily ignored if they are already purchased in the previous chapter. In the remake, they contain a Wyrmslayer and a Dragonpike instead, which are not sold in the previous chapter and essential in clearing out the dragon enemies in this chapter and the next two ones.

Once your units arrive at the northern chamber, only open one door so you wouldn't be overwhelmed from both sides. On the same turn you opened the door, eliminate the two Dark Mages wielding Dulam and Meteor standing close to the wall with Tiki, Snipers, or your Gradivus user.

Mage Dragon reinforcements will appear from both corridors outside the northern chamber and from your starting point. The Mage Dragon boss guarding the throne could be easily taken down with a Wyrmslayer.
