Susan Carol Maciorowski (née Nichols) was an American animator.
She was born to parents Brian and Julie. She graduated from East Longmeadow High School in 1983 before going on to study visual animation at the California Institute of the Arts, where she later lectured, graduating in 1987. She is recognized for her styling abilities. She has held the positions of Production Stylist, Head of Story, Story, Consultant/Instructor, Story Illustrator/Writer, Visual Development Artist, Character Designer, and Design Teacher/Lecturer. She has worked with Mike Joens Productions, TMS, Turner Feature Animation, Universal, Canum Entertainment, and Kid’s Clubhouse.
For Disney, she worked as a screenwriter on Aladdin and The Hunchback of Notre Dame, as a character designer on The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Mulan, as a design artist on The Princess and the Frog, as a visual development artist on Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, Mulan, The Emperor's New Groove, Atlantis: The Lost Empire, Lilo & Stitch, Enchanted, and The Princess and the Frog, as a production stylist on Hercules, and as a storyboard artist on Fantasia 2000, Piglet's Big Movie, Mulan II, and Bambi II.
