Beau the Opossum

Beau the Possum is a musician possum that plays Zydeco music for the Tiana's Bayou Adventure attraction in the Disney Parks.

Background[]

Seeing limitless possibilities, no one finds more wonder in the bayou and the sounds of zydeco music than Beau. All she knows is beauty, especially her own. You can find her plucking out the low notes with her upright gourd bass, which, of course, involves some musical dexterity with her tail.

Development[]

An artwork of Beau the Possum was revealed to be featured in the upcoming attraction at Disneyland and Walt Disney World's Tiana's Bayou Adventure. Therefore, the Imagineers are creating the animatronic of the turtle to make his appearance in the attraction.

Beau can be first seen in the "Gonna Take You There" sequence alongside with other members of the Zydeco Critter Band, while she is playing her bass.

She can be seen one last time in the "Special Spice" final sequence where she can be seen sitting on a staircase pole of Fleur du Bayou, while playing her bass as Tiana and Naveen are hosting the Mardi Gras party.
