The episode begins just outside Funny, where Mickey and Windy watch Minnie fly her kite. Minnie goes inside to get some lemonade and allows Mickey to fly her kite. As soon as she leaves, however, the wind picks up, causing Mickey to accidentally crash the kite in a tree, ripping it. Mickey is worried and wonders what to do as Goofy calls him in, telling him someone is knocking on one of Funny's adventure doors. The gang finds the door being knocked on and discovers that it is Willie asking them for help repairing a wagon he was using to clear his barn for a barn dance later tonight. The gang agrees to help Willie. Funny secretly tries to encourage Mickey to confess to Minnie about her broken kite, but the latter claims he will do it after helping Willie.
Willie leads the gang up his beanstalk to his barn, and shows them the wagon. He explains that he was using the wagon to clear his barn when he accidentally drove it into a rock, breaking one of the wheels. He also says that the wagon actually belonged to his friend, Annie, who walks in as soon as he mentions her name. Willie tries to hide the wagon and the gang from Annie before she leaves the barn. Minnie tells Willie to come clean to Annie, but he is scared as he will not know what to say and does not want to lose her as a friend. Funny secretly reminds Mickey about his promise considering the similarities, but Mickey tries to dismiss it.
Minnie tells Mickey to hop on Willie's shoulder and tell him what to say to Annie. However, while Willie tries to understand what Mickey says, he accidentally spills both his and Mickey's secrets. Both Mickey and Willie confess to Minnie and Annie, respectively, to accidentally breaking their items after using them, to which they are forgiven. Willie then fixes the wagon wheel after saving Goofy, Daisy, and Donald from being squashed by it. The barn dance then happens. The gang then returns to Funny. The episode ends with Funny producing a souvenir to remember their trip and Mickey and Minnie waving goodbye to the viewers.

At the end of the episode before the closing scene, a purple castle is reference the Magic Kingdom dedicated to Will Ryan's passing.
