生平

他生于英格兰紹斯波特。成长于伍斯特郡的Malvern。他获得了肯特大学比较文学英语文学美国文学)硕士学位。

他曾在意大利西西里岛居住过一年,后来移居日本的广岛市,在此教授英语和写作达8年时间[3]。現在他居住在愛爾蘭南部。
