The Cap of the Wild is a recurring Item in The Legend of Zelda series.[1][2]

Location and Uses[]

Breath of the Wild[]

The Cap of the Wild is a piece of Armor that can be obtained as part of the titular gift in the "A Gift from the Monks" Side Quest. After completing all 120 of the Ancient Shrines, excluding the 16 Shrines that must be completed in the "EX The Champions' Ballad" Main Quest,[verification needed] the Monk of the final Shrine will tell Link to go the Forgotten Temple,[3] where he will find three stone Treasure Chests in front of the Goddess Statue at the back of the Temple. The Chest in the middle contains the Cap of the Wild. The Cap of the Wild can be enhanced by a Great Fairy and can be Dyed at the Kochi Dye Shop. The Cap of the Wild, alongside the Tunic of the Wild and the Trousers of the Wild, compose the Hero of the Wild Set. When each piece of the Set has been enhanced at least two times by a Great Fairy and the full Set is worn, it provides a Master Sword Beam Up Set Bonus.
