Characteristics[]

Cactoroks are cacti creatures appearing only in the South Gubasha Desert. Cactoroks can attack Zelda by throwing rocks at her. If Zelda either touches a Cactorok or is hit by one of their rocks, she takes a Heart of damage. Cactoroks take three hits from the Wand to defeat, or two if Zelda has five or six Celestial Signs.

Nomenclature[]

Their name is a portmanteau of "cactus" and "Octorok," a species in The Legend of Zelda series capable of spitting rocks.
