Courage Gems are items in Phantom Hourglass.[1]

Location and Uses[]

By collecting 10 Courage Gems, the Spirit of Courage allows Link to shoot Sword Beams. Getting all 20 doubles the width of the Sword Beams. This has no known effect on the Phantoms or Reaplings.

1 Mercay Island In a chest inside the cavern connecting Mercay Island to Freedle's.
2 Temple of the Ocean King Inside a chest after shooting an eye switch in floor one. Requires the Grappling Hook.
3 Temple of the Ocean King Inside a chest after placing the rounded and the triangle-shaped crystals in their respective places in floor eight.
4 Anywhere on the Ocean Given by Linebeck after beating some enemies from an ambush by a big Cannon Boat.
5 Beedle's Shop Ship For sale for only 500 Rupees (Masked Beedle only).
6 Isle of Ember Inside a chest in a northwest spot. Requires the Grappling Hook.
7 Molida Island In a spot west of the entrance to the Temple of Courage. Requires the Grappling Hook.
8 Spirit Island Next to the dock area.
9 Isle of Gust Inside a cave blocked by a bombable wall.
10 Temple of Wind In a windy area southeast of the basement floor.
11 Bannan Island North of Salvatore. Requires the Grappling Hook.
12 Uncharted Island Inside a chest in the first room of Cylos's lair. Requires the Grappling Hook.
13 Temple of Courage Behind a bombable wall in the room right before the boss area.
14 Goron Island In a high spot near the Goron having trouble with a Yellow ChuChu. Requires the Grappling Hook.
15 Any postbox Given by Gongoron after beating the Goron Temple.
16 Dee Ess Island Found by digging around the southwestern corner of the island's "Touch Screen".
17 Dee Ess Island Gained after defeating various enemies within the "Upper Screen".
18 Isle of the Dead At the end of the Rupoor maze.
19 Isle of Ruins East of the island after the water lowers its level.
20 Mutoh's Temple In the room with the tile swap puzzles.
