Facteur d’intensité dynamique des contraintes tiré des grandeurs mécaniques globales. (Extraction of dynamic stress intensity factor from global mechanical data). (French) Zbl 0639.73034
Summary: We examine the theoretical problem of determining the stress intensity factor in mode I using global observable mechanical data, such as the loads and the displacements at the boundary of an elastic body with an edge-crack. This problem which has been already solved for static elasticity is now generalized to the dynamic case. We give the exact solution to the dynamic problem.
