Sigmoidal-Nyström for solving an aerofoil equation. (English) Zbl 1245.76110

Summary: We consider Nyström type methods for solving a generalized aerofoil equation with weakly singular kernel. Based on sigmoidal transformations and Nyström method, we obtain new algorithms for solving this equation. Convergence analysis for this methods are given. Finally, numerical examples complete this work.
