Estimation of the parameters for power function distribution based on type-II doubly censored sample. (English) Zbl 07762713

The authors proposed the estimating parameters of the PFD for the Type-II doubly censored data using MLE and Bayesian techniques. They dealt wirh Bayes estimates using the Lindley approximation method and the Importance sampling procedure. A simulation study, on the bias and MSE values under different loss functions was developed.
