The conic of intersections of an affinity. (English) Zbl 1513.51068
Summary: In this article we study some conics defined, up to dilatation, by an affinity of the plane. We discuss the mutual relations between the conic and the defining affinity and, in particular, we show how to reproduce affinities related to a given conic. As an application of the theory, we show that the orbital conics of equiaffinities are dilatations of the considered conics.
