A \(q,r\)-analogue for the Stirling numbers of the second kind of Coxeter groups of type B. (English) Zbl 1513.05040
A generalization of the Stirling numbers of the second kind of type B is given in two different directions. One generalization is via their \(q\)-analogue and the other one uses \(r\) distinguished elements. This work deals with a new \(q\)-analogue of the Stirling numbers of the second kind of type B and its \(r\)-variant. The authors give a full explanation of their results in the context of well-known properties proved by other authors.
