Granules and knowledge structure in three-way concept analysis. (Chinese. English summary) Zbl 1463.68090

Summary: Three-way concept analysis (3WCA) is a new tool for data analysis and knowledge discovery by introducing three-way decision (3WD) into formal concept analysis. This paper expounds the basic concepts of 3WCA with 3WD thought from the perspective of knowledge intension. Then it describes the knowledge structure of 3WCA with granular computing from two perspectives of object and attribute. Finally, the DIKW hierarchy is applied to 3WCA, and the D-I-K/W funnel model of 3WCA is given.
