A note on countably compact quasitopological groups. (English) Zbl 1430.54035
Summary: We prove that a countably compact Hausdorff quasitopological group of countable pseudocharacter is compact and metrizable, and hence it is a topological group, which gives a partial answer to a question of C. Hernández and M. Tkachenko [Topology Appl. 153, No. 18, 3615–3620 (2006; Zbl 1113.54023)].
