This book can be used as a textbook for a course aimed at postgraduate students in biostatistics and medicine. It consists of 6 chapters starting from soft introduction to terminology, multivariate survival analysis, joint frailty-copula models and personalized dynamic prediction of survival. As footnote, the authors included open problems and future developments. Apart from solid theoretical findings in survival analysis, this book is equipped with an brief and useful introduction to R “Survival Package” and case studies that can be used as labs.
