Global existence results for second order neutral functional differential equation with state-dependent delay. (English) Zbl 1374.34299
By using the Schauder fixed-point theorem in an abstract space, the authors prove the existence of a mild solution of a certain second-order neutral differential equation with a state-dependent delay. An example showing the applicability of the result obtained is also provided.
