Improved Cauchy-Schwarz norm inequality for operators. (English) Zbl 1361.15026
Cauchy-Schwarz-type norm inequalities for operators or matrices have been well studied. Some authors use variants of the integral Hermite-Hadamard inequality to refine Cauchy-Schwarz-type norm inequalities. The complicated appearance makes these results unappealing. The present paper is such an example.
