Summary: This text is an introduction to some arithmetic problems related to dynamical systems in algebraic geometry. The first chapter is an exposition of the theory of height functions. The second is devoted to polarized dynamical systems; we introduce various conjectures and present the equidistribution theorem in the particular case of an endomorphism of the projective line, and give some applications.
